Air India Express' Kochi-Muscat flight, which took off from the airport in Kochi today with 170 passengers and six crew members, returned following a wind shield crack.
Airlines sources said the flight took off at 8.45 am from the International airport at Nedumbassery. After nearly an hour, the flight came back after the crack was noticed.
The passengers, who were accommodated on a standby aircraft, have left for Muscat, sources said.
