Kozhikode: Passengers of an Air India flight from Jeddah had a narrow escape after one of the plane's rear tyres burst during landing at nearby Karipur International Airport on Saturday.
All the 369 passengers and the crew on board Jeddah-Calicut AI-962 flight are safe, an Air India official said, after the plane landed at 8.30 am.
The incident occurred at the turning pad area of the runway, the official said.
