Hyderabad:
TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday said that the industry and agriculture had been utterly neglected by the Kiran Kumar Reddy-led Congress government in Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing a meeting of Joint Action Committee of Industries at Indira Park in Hyderabad, he claimed that the TDP government in the past had addressed the power crisis in a democratic manner, by setting up the Electricity Regulatory Commission, and ensured nine hours of daily supply to agriculture.
"If the Chief Minister ever visits the Industrial estates, he will understand the dire condition, particularly of the small scale sector," Mr Naidu said.
There was total chaos and anarchy in the power sector because of which the farmers were not getting power even for seven hours a day, he alleged.
