Bangalore: A 25-year-old woman working as a software engineer for a private firm committed suicide by hanging herself at her parents' residence here on Sunday, police said.
The deceased, identified as Manasa, was the daughter of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Revenue Task Force, Gejjappa.
Manasa ended her life when her parents were away and there was nobody in the house.
She was married to a software engineer working in Australia.
"Since her husband was in Australia, she was living with her parents and had been married for the past two years", they said.
A suicide note left behind by the deceased said that nobody but her was responsible for her actions.
