Kannur:
The bodies of an ex-serviceman and his wife were found under mysterious circumstances at their house at Nayattupara in Mattanur in Kannur district today, police said.
The deceased were identified as Madhusudhanan (43) and wife Bindu (36), police said.
Police suspect the couple to have committed suicide as the man's body had bullet injuries. An air gun was recovered from near his body, they said, adding his wife's body was found hanging from the fan.
Family problems reportedly drove them to take the extreme step, police said.
The man, who retired from BSF, was working as a security guard in a private firm in Ernakulam.
