Thiruvananthpuram: In a boost to Kerala's investment promotion campaign 'Emerging Kerala', Britain has shown interest in some big projects in IT, healthcare, infrastructure and education sectors of the state, and has promised to share the project profiles with major companies in the UK.
This was disclosed by Mike Nithavrianakis, the British Deputy High Commissioner in Chennai, after meetings with the Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and senior officials.
The Kerala team apprised Nithavrianakis of a number of upcoming projects, including NIMZ (National Investment Manufacturing Zone), development of minor ports, excellence in higher education, LNG-based power plants and development of inland waterways.
