Bureaucratic reshuffle in Andhra Pradesh

Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh government on Thursday transferred nine Indian Administrative Service officers as part of the bureaucratic reshuffle.

As per an order issued by Chief Secretary Pankaj Dwivedi, 1979 batch officer Ajoyendra Pyal has been appointed as Special Chief Secretary of Irrigation and Command Area Development Department.

Another senior officer Prasanta Mahapatra (1980 batch) has been posted as Additional Director General of Dr Marri Channa Reddy Human Resources Development Institute.

Jagdish Chander Sharma has been posted as Principal Secretary (Labour) while the incumbent D Srinivasulu was shifted to Industries Department as Principal Secretary in charge of mines.

After having posted a junior rank officer in the previous round of bureaucratic reshuffle, the government has now made amends and posted 1987-batch officer Neerabh Kumar Prasad as Metropolitan Commissioner of Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority.

Information and Public Relations Department Commissioner B Venkatesham has been moved out and made the Managing Director of AP State Housing Corporation.

R V Chandravadan will take the place of Mr Venkatesham, as per the Chief Secretary's order.

P Satyanarayana Reddy and T Vijay Kumar of 2003 batch have been posted as Managing Director of AP Technology Services and AP Agro Industries Development Corporation respectively.
