Hyderabad:
Police on Saturday seized over 1,200 kg of cannabis (ganja) worth over Rs 30 lakh from three men in Warangal district of Andhra Pradesh.
The cannabis was being transported from Warangal to other parts of the state in a van.
Police nabbed the three members of the gang on the outskirts of Thatikayala village under Dharamsagar police station limits, Additional Superintendent of Police G Praveen told PTI.
As many as 1,271 kg of dry cannabis, concealed in gunny bags, was found in the van.
The trio were being further interrogated, the ASP added.
