Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will visit Chhattisgarh and Odisha next week to discuss issues related to multi-purpose Polavaram irrigation project with his counterparts in the two states.
"The Chief Minister will discuss the ways and means of the problems that might arise out of the irrigation project and arrive at solutions amicably," an official statement said.
Mr Naidu will also visit Naya Raipur to examine if any model can be adapted to develop the capital city of Andhra Pradesh, it said.
The Parliament passed the Polavaram Bill in July which includes transfer of seven mandals of Telangana state to Andhra Pradesh.
