Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today urged yoga guru Ramdev to open a yoga centre in Tirupati.
Mr Ramdev called on the chief minister here to congratulate him upon assuming power. During their meeting, Mr Chandrababu asked Mr Mr Ramdev to set up a major yoga centre in the temple town of Tirupati along with a nursery of medicinal plants at Tirumala, the abode of Lord Venkateswara.
"Mr Chandrababu is like my brother. We will consider his proposal to set up the yoga centre through our Patanjali Trust," Mr Ramdev said. Mr Chandrababu's son Mr Lokesh was also present on the occasion.
