Coimbatore : A conductor was killed and seven passengers were injured when the government bus they were travelling in rammed into a stationary lorry at Olapalayam in Tirupur district near Coimbatore today.
The bus, going to Tirupur from Tiruchirapalli, dashed against the lorry parked on the road side, about 80 km from here, around 4 AM, police said.
The conductor of the bus, Sabapathy, died on the spot, they said.
The injured have been hospitalised.
