Chennai:
The DMDK members led by its Deputy Floor Leader Alagaapuram R Mohanraj today staged a walk out in the Tamil Nadu Assembly after they were denied permission to offer their views during a debate on demand for grants of Revenue Department.
When the house was debating demand for grants pertaining to the revenue department, DMDK member Sampath Kumar made some allegations, which were stoutly objected by Revenue
Minister R B Udhaya Kumar and Environment Minister Venkatachalam.
However speaker P Dhanapal expunged the remarks of Sampath Kumar.
DMDK members vociferously demanded that they be given chance to air their view to which the Chair declined permission.
The DMDK members staged a walkout in protest.
