Chennai:
DMK is likely to firm up its Lok Sabha election strategies at an upcoming meeting of its key decision-making body under party chief M Karunanidhi.
The meeting of DMK's general council will be held in Chennai on December 15, to be chaired by Karunanidhi, party General Secretary K Anbazhagan said in a statement, adding, the subjects to be discussed among others would be "Lok Sabha elections."
The meeting comes months after DMK split up with nine year-old ally Congress on the Sri Lankan Tamils issue though both patched up for the Rajya Sabha elections in June 2013, with the national party backing DMK's Kanimozhi.
The meeting of the general council will be held at DMK headquarters Anna Arivalayam, Anbazhagan said in a statement.
