Chennai: DMK women's wing Organising Secretary Karl Marx was today arrested here in connection with a defamation case for allegedly abusing Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa and her government at a party meeting.
A police team from Chennai arrested Marx, police said.
She has also been charged with attempting to instigate violence.
According to police, the women's wing leader, while speaking at a DMK meeting at the party headquarters in Chennai on May 15 had "abused" the Chief Minister and also threatened that she would become a 'human bomb'.
