Bangalore:
An 11-year-old girl suffered serious burns after she was set on fire by some unidentified persons while she was on her way to school today, police said.
The girl's father said three people came, poured kerosene on the child and set her on fire. She has suffered 95 per cent burns and has been admitted to the government-run Victoria Hospital in the city.
The girl's father says the assailants could be people against whom he had filed a police complaint earlier.
However, police maintains that the reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained.
