Malappuram (Kerala): The first Haj flight carrying 300 Kerala pilgrims returning from Makkah arrived on Friday.
The Saudi Arabian Airlines flight landed at the Calicut International Airport at the nearby Karippur at about 1 pm, Haj Committee sources said.
The pilgrims were received at the airport by State Haj Committee Chairman Kottumala T M Bapu Musliar and other Haj Committee members.
As many as 8,830 pilgrims had gone to Makkah under government supervision from Calicut airport, the sources said.
