Manipal: Four people of a family were killed and five injured when a car carrying a group of pilgrims from Kerala and a lorry collided near Manipal, police said on Tuesday.
The victims were on their way to Kollur Mookambika temple for the Navaratri festival when the mishap occurred at Thenka Yeramal, near Padubidri, about 30 kms away from Manipal on Monday, they said.
The injured have been hospitalised.
