Salem, Tamil Nadu:
Four persons, including a woman and her teenaged son were killed and eight injured in an LPG cylinder explosion at a house at Aataiyampatty near Salem in Tamil Nadu today, police said.
While a woman and a boy died on the spot, the body of a man was found under the debris of a nearby house, which was among three damaged in the blast, they said.
They said the explosion occurred after the woman tried to light the gas stove unaware of a leak in the cylinder.
The injured have been hospitalised.
