Sivakasi: Four persons were charred to death and three others seriously injured in a fire which broke out at a factory near Sivakasi in Tamil Nadu, police said on Wednesday.
The factory grinds metals at Ettakapatti. Friction and heat while grinding magnesium was the reason behind the fire which broke out on Tuesday night.
Venkatesh Prabhu, the owner of the factory, died on Tuesday night, while Kalimuthu, Perumalsamy and Manikandan succumbed to their burns at a government hospital on Wednesday.
The condition of the injured is stated to be serious, police said.
