Thiruvananthapuram: Four women were killed and 40 injured when two Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) buses collided at Navaikkulam about 35 km from Thiruvananthapuram, police sources said.
According to police, a Super-Fast bus bound for Thrissur hit a Kollam-Thiruvanantapuram bus coming in the opposite direction at Navaikkulam, where the road was wet.
Police said the deceased were yet to be identified.
Five of the seriously injured were rushed to the Medical College Hospital and others were taken to hospitals near the accident spot.
