Chennai: German Consul General Dr Stefan Weckbach on Monday called on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa at the Secretariat in Chennai.
The meeting was described as a "courtesy call", an official press release in Chennai said.
Currently there are over 150 German companies having presence in India.
According to the External Affairs Ministry, trade between the two countries is set to touch Euro 20 billion this year.
