Mangalore: Customs officials at the international airport here have seized 384 gms of gold worth Rs 10.46 lakh from a passenger who arrived in Mangalore from Dubai, airport officials said.
The gold was found concealed in the form of 10-tola bars inside a motor toy-jeep and a toy-dog and the remaining in the form of paint-coated cylindrical objects hidden in the wheels of a stroller-suitcase the passenger was carrying, the officials said.
The passenger from Kasaragod in Kerala had arrived on Monday when the seizure was made, they added.
