The Karnataka High Court on Friday ordered notice to Lokayukta police on an advance bail petition by former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy with regard to a case registered against him in the special Lokayukta court.
Justice Anand Byrareddy ordered issue of notice to the Lokayukta police.
The Lokayukta court had recently ordered investigation into the second private complaint against Kumaraswamy and others in connection with alleged illegal de-notification of land in Halagevaderahalli.
One Mahadevaswamy had filed a complaint alleging that Bangalore Development Authority had notified several acres of land in Halagevaderahalli for the Banashankari fifth Stage Layout.
