Hyderabad bomb blasts: Police announce reward of Rs 10 lakh for information on culprits
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police on Saturday announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for anybody providing information about the people involved in Thursday's twin blasts in Dilsukhnagar.

Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma said the identity of the person giving the information would be kept a secret.

He said no arrests were made in connection with the blasts which killed 16 people and injured over 100. "We are working on different leads but don't want to take hasty decisions," he said.

The police chief said the CCTV camera near the blast site was functioning and police had collected the footage and were scanning it. He however refused to divulge details about the investigations.

He claimed that police had increased surveillance and also clarified that only 15 out of 265 CCTV cameras in the city are not functioning.

The police commissioner said ammonium nitrate and timer devices were used in the blasts.

Mr Sharma said six special teams were formed to probe the blasts.
