"Every month pension will be directly transferred into their bank accounts", an official release said Rajahmundry tonight.
The superannuation will be distributed through micro-ATM system which requires thumb impression of beneficiaries.
"During the first phase, about 7,000 beneficiaries will receive pension in Gollaprollu and Polavaram mandals of the district", the release said.
According to the release, the payments under flagship Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNERS) will be made through the cash transfer scheme in the district whereas Gollaprollu mandal will be developed as a model mandal.
Ramesh and Reddy will also launch 'Indira Jalprabha Scheme' in Vajrakutam village of Gollaprollu mandal of the district, selected as the pilot project under the Aadhar-based direct cash transfer scheme.
1,231 acres of land has been brought under cultivation in the district and 69 borewells are being dug up under the 'Jalprabha' scheme.
For direct cash transfer scheme, 35 shops out of total 42 shops in the mandal have been selected.
Under the Aadhar-based direct cash transfer scheme, the subsidy amount will not be immediately deposited in the bank accounts of the cardholders but will take at least a month's time to get credited.
As soon as the subsidy amount is deposited in the bank accounts, the card-holders will be alerted through SMS.
