Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa today congratulated Dr Tamilisai Sounderrajan on being appointed as the new BJP Tamil Nadu unit President.
"I congratulate on your appointment as President, BJP Tamil Nadu unit," Ms Jayalalithaa said in a letter to Dr Sounderrajan.
Yesterday, 53-year-old Dr Tamilisai Sounderrajan, who was earlier the BJP National Secretary, was appointed as the Tamil Nadu unit president, replacing Pon Radhakrishnan.
