Jayalalithaa to attend security conference in Delhi

Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa will attend the conference of Chief Ministers on internal security to be chaired by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi on Monday.

A statement issued on Saturday said that she will attend the conference on Monday and return in the evening.

She has been a critic of many of the decisions taken by the central government on allocation of funds, power, formation of the National Counter Terrorism Centre and others.

She has been saying that the decisions of the central government would weaken the federal structure of the Indian polity.
