Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa will chair the annual conference of District Collectors and police officials starting in Chennai on December 11.
The Chief Minister will chair a joint conference of the officials on the opening day while dedicating separate sessions on December 12 and 13 to Collectors and police officials, respectively, a state government release said.
The conference will be held at the state Secretariat.
The three-day conference can be described as the annual stock-taking initiative of the government of the law and order situation and the implementation of its various welfare programmes.
