Disappointed over the ban on the film 'Vishwaroopam' in Tamil Nadu, fans of actor-director Kamal Hassan in Coimbatore have rushed to nearby Kerala, where the film was running to packed houses.
The fans had left by the available mode of transports to Palakkad, Velanthavalam and Shoranur to see the film, police said.
Some early birds got the opportunity to see the movie in Palakkad, 50 Kms from Coimbatore on Friday morning, after which the screening was reportedly stopped following objection by a section of people, police said.
However, they rushed to Velanthavalam, about 30 Kms from here, to watch the movie.
