Bangalore:
Karnataka Minister A Narayanaswamy and two others suffered minor injuries when their car hit a roadside tree near Marasu Gate in Anekal Taluk today, according to police.
Mr Narayanaswamy, who suffered minor head injuries, was rushed to a private hospital. He was discharged after receiving treatment, Anekal Inspector Kishore Kumar told PTI.
Talking to reporters, Mr Narayanaswamy said he was okay.
Mr Narayanaswamy's driver and gunman also sustained minor injuries in the chest and right shoulder, Kumar said. "Both of them are stable and have been discharged," he added.
The minister was on his way to attend a function in Anekal.
