Thiruvananthpuram:
To explore business opportunities and further strengthen bilateral trade with India, a Malaysian delegation comprising of companies in various sectors is on a two-day visit starting from today.
The visit is being organised by Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), a trade promotion agency of the Malaysian government.
The mission is a part of MATRADE's annual promotion activity in bringing Malaysian companies to venture into Indian market particularly in Kerala, a press release said.
Twelve Malaysian companies, from across sectors such as rubber materials for industrial products, household and industrial detergents, designed clothing, plastic products, juice beverage, vegetarian frozen food and software development would be part of the delegation.
A session will also be held to provide business fraternity in Kerala an opportunity to interact with their
Malaysian counterparts.
The delegation is being led by MATRADE Director, Abu Bakar Koyakutty, along with Trade commissioner/Consul (Trade) from Consulate General of Malaysia, Shah Nizam Ahmad.
