Bangalore:
A chicken shop owner was hacked to death while waiting at a bus stand in Bangalore with his brother to go to court in connection with a case on Tuesday, police said.
The 22-year-old man succumbed to injuries in a private hospital while his elder brother escaped unhurt, they said.
Police said four to five persons in two bikes armed with logs and matchets attacked the duo. The chicken shop owner was seriously injured and was admitted to a hospital, where he died.
The gang then went to DJ Halli area and allegedly attacked a mutton stall owner, who was admitted to a hospital and is stated to be out of danger, police said.
