Bengaluru:
There were some moments of anxiety at Bengaluru's HAL airport today when a helicopter meant to carry Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah to Mysore developed a snag.
The silencer of the helicopter caught fire and all the passengers had to disembark.
The good news is that nobody was injured - although the incident must have made some hearts beat faster.
After the development of the Kempe Gowda International Airport outside Bengaluru city, the HAL airport which used to be the city's main airport, is now only used for defence and VIP flights.
