Hyderabad: The National Investigation Agency has filed a second chargesheet in the Dilsukhnagar bomb blasts that took place on 21st February, 2013, in which 18 people, including an unborn child, were killed and 131 people injured.

The agency has named three operatives of the Indian Mujahideen as accused in the case. These include Mohd Riyaz alias Riyaz Bhatkal, Zia ur Rahman alias Waqas and Tahseen Akhtar alias Sameer.

The first chargesheet filed on 14th March this year had named Asadullah Akhtar alias Haddi and Mohd Ahmad Siddappa alias Yasin Bhatkal. The NIA had later arrested Zia ur Rahman alias Waqar and Tahseen Akhtar on 5th May this year.

The agency has said that Riyaz Bhatkal had hatched the conspiracy when he was in a neighbouring country along with Yasin Bhatkal who was in hiding in another neighbouring country.

Riyaz is said to have arranged for explosives and money to be received by Asadullah Akhtar and Zia ur Rahman alias Waqar at Mangalore.

The two then came to Hyderabad to join Tehseen Akhtar. They prepared two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) after gathering other materials and also arranged two bicycles to plant the IEDs from the city.

The accused had then planted the two bicycles loaded with IEDs in Dilsukhnagar on 21st February, last year, which exploded killing several people.
