Chennai:
Senior district officials in Tamil Nadu would soon receive new vehicles and more fuel for their official trips.
According to the proposals for 2012-123, 14 new cars and 24 new jeeps would replace the repaired ones used by District Collectors and District Revenue Officers (RDO) across the state at a cost of Rs 208 lakhs.
The monthly fuel ration of 140 litres for vehicles of district administration would be hiked to 160 litres, at a cost of Rs 46.13 lakh, it said.
