Bangalore: A notorious criminal Anand and four of his associates have been arrested while conspiring to attack a rival gang leader and his aides, police said.
Lethal weapons, sticks, chilli powder packets and mobile phones were recovered from them when they were arrested on April 20, police said.
A hunt is on for two of Anand's associates who are absconding, they said.
Meanwhile, police nabbed four associates of another gangster while they were planning to attack a rival gang at Subramanyapura and seized knives, sticks, chilli powder and mobile phones from them.
