More than 100 Keralites, including tourists, are trapped in Earthquake-hit Nepal, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said today.
In a Facebook post, he said state Minister K C Joseph has gone to Delhi to initiate steps to get the stranded persons back to Kerala.
"Cabinet Minister K C Joseph is in Delhi to coordinate the efforts of getting the affected persons back to Kerala', Mr Chandy said.
The Chief Minister also congratulated the Indian Army for their rescue effort.
"Indian Army's rescue mission in Nepal is commendable. I wish them all the best for their efforts in Nepal," he said.
