Over 250 from Karnataka still stuck in Uttarakhand
Bangalore: Over 950 of the around 1,440 people from Karnataka stranded in Uttarakhand have been rescued while the remaining are in Badrinath, an official statement said.

All the rescued have returned to Karnataka, the statement said.

Efforts are on to bring back the 250 still stuck in Badrinath, it said.

State Information Minister Santosh Lad, a 10-member team of officials, two teams of two doctors each with medicines and the state government helicopter are stationed in the rain and flood-devastated Uttarakhand to help people from the state.
