Kadapa:
Police have seized a cash of Rs 41.71 lakh in six separate incidents during routine checks in Kadapa district in the past two days.
According to police, among other incidents, they seized Rs 14.5 lakh from one K Kishor at Guvvalachervu check post in Ramapuram Mandal limits this afternoon, while he was going to Rayachoty.
In another incident, police seized Rs 7.43 lakh from 17 passengers coming by a van from Tuticoran district of Tamil Nadu state to purchase livestock at G Reddivari Palli check post in Rajampeta constituency.
Rayachoty police seized RS 4.68 lakh from one K C Suresh Babu, who was suspiciously moving near Netaji recreation club in the town.
Police have sent the cash to the I-T Department.
