Chennai:
Renovation work at the domestic and international terminus at the airport here would be completed in two months, a top Airports Authority of India official said on Wednesday.
"Renovation work is going on. It will be completed within two months," V P Agarwal, Chairman, AAI told reporters here.
Preparatory work for a Greenfield airport at Sriperumbudur near here was going on, he said.
Airports Authority of India is working with the Tamil Nadu government in building the second terminal at Sriperumbudur at a cost of Rs 7,000 crore, he said.
A new technology for monitoring take-off and landing of flights would be implemented in Bangalore next year, he added.
