Union minister for Law and Justice Salman Khurshid on Tuesday lauded the efforts of social orgnisations in Kerala for their contribution in promoting education.
"The youth of the God's own country (Kerala) have the responsibility to repay the state through their work," he said after launching the first phase of work of the International Convention Centre and state of the art Skywalk of Amal Jyothi College of Engineering at Kanjirapally here today.
The convention centre with a seating capacity of 5000 will facilitate the conduct of seminars, conferences, workshops and training programmes.
The 500 meter skywalk will provide easy access to the college from the hostel for students.
