Bangalore: A seven-member gang of robbers was arrested and Rs 20.54 lakh cash, 141 gram gold ornaments,124 grams silver ornaments and a car was seized from them, police said.
On interrogation, the gang confessed to robbing Shivanna, an employee of Prajwal Properties Private Limited, of Rs 38 lakh on April 15 while he was returning home from office.
The accused were also involved in three chain-snatching incidents as well as a house burglary case.
The accused, who were arrested on May 3, have been identified as Chandrappa, Sandeep, Praveen, Harish, Krishnamurthy, Manjunath and Harsha, police said.
