Nalgonda, Andhra Pradesh: At least six women labourers were killed and 15 others injured when a tractor-trolley in which they were travelling overturned in Nidmanoor Mandal in Nalgonda, police said.
The incident occurred at around 10.30 am near Mupparam village when the driver lost control over the vehicle while crossing a bridge. The vehicle turned turtle before falling near a canal resulting in death of five women on the spot, they said.
Of the 16 wounded, one succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital, police said.
The deceased have not been identified yet and Nidmanoor police is carrying further investigations.
