The Q Branch Police has arrested six Sri Lankans, who were found hiding in the "Casurina" jungle in this island.
All the six, arrested last night, hailed from Talaimannar district of Sri Lanka, Kennedy Inspector of Police said today.
He said the Sri Lankans had come in a fibre glass boat and were planning to smuggle 10 Kg of ganja worth Rs 10 lakh from Rameswaram.
Police, who were interrogating them, said of late there had been series of incidents of smuggling ganja from here in exchange for gold from Sri Lanka.
