Srivilliputhur, Tamil Nadu: Sixty students at a private school near Srivilliputhur were hospitalised with complaints of vomitting and diarrhoea after allegedly eating food served under the Noon Meal scheme, officials said today.
Officials said a dead lizard had led to contamination of the food served at the school on Monday.
While most of them were discharged on Monday evening, seven students were discharged on Tuesday, they added.
