Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu: A court in Sri Lanka today remanded till December 19, the judicial custody of four Indian fishermen, who were rescued by Sri Lankan naval personnel near Neduntheevu after their boat capsized in rough seas.
Officials said the fishermen from Jagadapattinam strayed into Sri Lankan waters yesterday due to rough seas and strong winds and went near Neduntheevu, where their boat capsized.
The court in Mallagam remanded them to judicial custody till December 19, officials said.
