Rameswaram: Six fishermen from Thangachimadam near Rameswaram were rescued by Marine Police after they got stranded following a snag in the engine of their boat and stuck in the sea, police said.
The fishermen called the Marine Police help line following the incident near the third third sand dune, about six nautical miles from Danushkodi.
The Marine Police reached the spot and rescued all of them and brought back to the shore, police said.
