Chennai:
The ruling AIADMK will present its fourth budget tomorrow, with Finance Minister O Panneerselvam scheduled to spell out the government's initiatives for the year 2014-15.
Being the election year, the government is expected to spare the common man of new taxes, even as it had already expressed hope of a good growth rate despite global economic slowdown and failure of monsoon.
In fact, the government had presented a tax-free budget last year.
Incidentally, this will be the fourth budget to be presented by Panneerselvam after Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa led her party to a resounding win in the 2011 Assembly elections.
