Chennai: A woman and a man she was allegedly involved with have been arrested in Chennai after she confessed during a television reality show that they killed her husband nearly four years ago.
The police says the woman, identified as Babykala, admitted the murder because the man she was having an affair with has since decided to marry someone else.
Narrating the murder during the show, Babykala said she and her lover Gowrisankar covered the face of her husband with a plastic cover till he suffocated and died on July 17, 2010.
They then told relatives that the man had died of a heart attack.
Babykala's mother-in-law allegedly saw the television show and filed a police complaint of murder.
