Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu resumed his padayatra today despite knee pain and a blood sugar problem.
Not heeding to his followers who pressed him not to continue and requested him to take rest for a few more days, Mr Naidu resumed the padayatra.
His family members from Hyderabad are expected to visit him this evening.
Meanwhile, his followers and TDP legislators have requested Mr Naidu's physicians in Hyderabad to visit him today and assess his health.
The TDP chief had suspended his padayatra under his 'Vastunna Mee Kosam' (I am Coming for You) campaign, after 117 days on January 25, due to his health problems.
